PNW Cash Ethanol Prices Climb on Tightening Supply
The Pacific Northwest hub posted slightly stronger cash ethanol prices in early trade, boosted by supply concerns. That market was talked in a $2.75 to $2.78 gal bid/ask range, up 3.0cts on the session, even as other regional hubs saw lower prices. "There's more demand there [in PNW] than in California," said a trade source. "Lots of vessels reached southern California last week so that may be making that market long... The East Coast sure is, as well as Florida."
