How exactly would the President of the United States do the due diligence on all the issues?

I am not a fan of GB, but seriously a President needs to do the due diligence on picking his advisors and then pick and choose from what they give him. In spite of a large number of talking heads telling us that GB is an intelligent guy, I think the opposite is true. Maybe he had the capacity for intellectual thinking, but he blew out his brain cells with the substance abuse of his youth.

He has been led in many directions and just signs off on spending whatever is put in front of him.

I can't stand it, I wish he would just QUIT!
