NEW YORK (Reuters) - Circuit City Stores Inc. (CC.N: Quote, Profile, Research), the No. 2 U.S. electronics chain, on Tuesday reported better-than-expected second-quarter results, boosting its stock 10 percent before the bell, as strong purchases of plasma TVs and other digital items helped reverse a year-ago loss.
