Dew, I believe that both are valid concerns. Of course, since I have already argued that Intel's cost structure with Centrino is superior even to TMTA's cost structure with Crusoe, I don't think Intel would have a problem eliminating the premium on Centrino and selling it at the same price as a Pentium 4-M. It's not the ideal solution, but if it comes to that, it's an easy option. As for Crusoe, the performance needs more than just a software hack to be ease the complaints of lackluster performance, IMO. Maybe the TM8000 is the answer, if that manages to launch on time. As a shareholder, I think I have a good reason to question whether it has any upside, or if my money is better placed in an investment with a better future.
