I am not doubting your experience with Zostavax but during my many years of practice, I have yet to experience a patient who has had an adverse reaction to it. FYI Zostavax must remain frozen from the time it leaves Merck until it is dispensed. If the physician does not stock it because it must be stored in a freezer he will provide a prescription to the patient. After the patient recieves it from the pharmacy he must return to the doctor's office for the injection within 30 minutes to insure the product is viable. As Weedie has stated a teaspoonful of NNVC's product would be much easier. The usual cost under an insurance plan varies. The out of pocket cost is about $275.00
