At no point in time had Humphries
noticed the deficiency, and at no point in time had any other party or their attorneys had noticed the lack of an Answer. All parties and their attorneys, including Humphries, have
been litigating this case under the assumption that an Answer had been filed.
Oh I'm willing to bet at least one party in this case noticed that Humphries' lack of an Answer.
I also love his justification for his incompetence (excuse my layman interpretation):
- I'm incompetent
- I haven't learned my lesson continue to miss filing deadlines (ie: I'm incompetent)
- I'm a scum bag and was in jail
- I wasted all my money trying to not go to jail
- HTII is being mean to me and refuses to roll over and let me win my suit against them.
Sounds to me like after constant instigation by Humphries, he somehow things he will now receive empathy from the court. We can only hope this is the final straw that forces the judge to finally stop letting Humphries get away with being incompetent.
