If charts worked on a regular basis, then chartists would own the world. Everyone would quit working and just watch the charts. But they're only a tool, not a crystal ball.

Besides, how could what's happened in the past, ALWAYS predict the future? Charts can't account for new developments or changes in the economy, or a small company making new strides. So quoting what the CHART SAYS means nothing to most.
