One reason for a R/S is the same reason EGLE did a 1/4 R/S . One to get the share price above 1 dollar so they do not get delisted . Two they reduce the out standing by the factor of the R/S but they do not reduce the authorized outstanding shares so they can issue more shares to raise funds . But I would think the main reason would be to stay listed .
