Capital Markets Advisor and recommend BUY? Is that legal?

Can an investment banker hired to look for deals and have a bias BUY recommendation out? Conflict of interest written all over it. Guess the investment public figured it out by selling.

Not to worry, this is a brokerage company. Maybe they have some big clients in their hip pockets for this.
