interesting post on UK rail

what does a takeover of a railroad in britain under british law have to do with anything in usa? how about stalin or musolini nationalizing railroads?

the us did take(nationalize) the railroads in 1917. had to do with the war effort. the exercise of the learning of this occurance is left to the students.
