Bob: NG:
Here is my question. You know I'm not bearish on NG. However, look at it this way. Let's say that NG was $10 today. That would still be a HUGE increase over last year. Let's say that the market could legitmately support $14. So, as the temperatures got colder and colder, the price went up gradually to $14 by January. I presume that satisfy the "logic" to many people.
But, instead, the market figures that all out ahead of time and rockets up to $14 right away - factoring in Rita and Katrina and Lentina and whatever else - not the least of which is that it actually brilliantly figured out that it will get very cold in a few months.
Why do you feel confident that the price of NG stocks will go up further over the next few months? What is there to learn about NG that we don't already know? We all know it is a disaster, but we also know that in 6 months it is going to a LOT less disasterous than it is today.
Who is to say we haven't seen the top of NG? And, even if not on the price of NG, the forward looking NG stocks could have peaked.
