President Obama Helps Launch Punch Television Network!!!



Despite the depleted economy, high gas prices, a crumbling real-estate market, soaring unemployment, national disasters, and an overall lack of resources; there is still a large amount of hope available. In a time when businesses are struggling right and left, a brand new national broadcast network begins broadcasting thanks, in part, to the Transitional Subsidized Employment program (TSE) made possible by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (commonly known as “The Stimulus”). The program allows businesses to gain access to a workforce while building their business an d the participants a chance to gain valuable job training while earning a wage.



Having come from a family that received assistance from government programs, C.E.O. Joseph Collins, readily embraced the program while looking for help with starting up his own television network. He was eager to give people from less advantaged backgrounds the opportunity to be trained and have a chance to gain a career not just a job. No job applicant was required to have any job experience in television or film; they simply need to be highly motivated and ready to learn.



As the company transitions away from the program for the launch of the network, thirty employees will become full-time employees of Punch Television Network. With over thirty shows set to launch, the job producing potential for Punch Television Network is exponential. Every time a future employee cashes a check, they should send a little gratitude to President Obama and his stimulus plan for making it possible.
