Well, I have been chatting with one of the reporters at the Montana Standard in Butte. Seems that MSE has been on a downhill slide for a number of years. Previous workforce of over 400 is now down to less than 200 ... and over half of that remainder only get a few part time hours.

The glory days of MSE and their primary pork barrel benefactor, the late Senator Mike Mansfield, died long ago ... the majority owners finally located someone stupid enough to try to buy the company and are now realizing who they are dealing with. That become clear when Jimmy Boy said he would hire people even if he had nothing for them to do. Exactly what the out of work folks wanted to hear. Sadly it is all just talk.

Just wondering if that new executive suite for old Jimmy Boy is ready yet?
