Well, the way cross promotion of their games work is... First the game has to prove itself on its own steam (word of mouth, employees spamming their friends, etc)... if it makes it over a million DAU, then cross promotion/spam offers start.

Standard operating procedure there..

But for a long time now I've said, the ville games are dead. I was annoyed when they made "The ville", even more annoyed when they announced Chef Ville and furious when they further f***ed up with Farmville 2.

They've surely made a ton of mistakes, but I wonder if their name and relationships can help them recover.

Surely the options they granted employees are underwater now, so I don't know how that will play out as well.

In my opinion, Zynga needs to do what I've wanted them to do for a long time. Downsize the company to 400 employees, focus solely on their platform, mobile, third party games and RMG... thats it!.. nothing else..

But they're idiots.
