Mitt doesn't have to spell the details. He's stated on many occasions that he "suppports" the ethanol mandate. This counters what some other poster posted here stating that ethanol would be dead under Mitt.

Yes, I'm glad Mitt is pro big oil and wants to drill, drill, drill. He also wants coal. Although he does feel that wind is only suitable in some geographical locations and needs to be researched more. For our national security and removal of the leverage the Arabs have over this country we need energy diversication. That is Mitts goal. So with Mitt, ethanol will live on and prosper. He is pro the mandate and even wants to decrease regulations on renewables.

Also keep in mind I don't recall Barack ever petitioning to extend the subsidies that expired on 1/1/12. And Mitt publicly stated that he was not in favor of killing the subsidies on 1/1/12 (which occured under Barack's watch). Rather Mitt has stated that he would have phased them out over time to help businesses like PEIX make the transition.
