Newmedman, thanks for the info and your time. This is my last post on the matter but thought you'd be interested in what TD had to say, or more accurately, didn't have to say. I can feel exasperation in the tone and there is no supporting documentation. Wow! Guess the consensus on TD is spot-on. In any case, I have emailed CBIS with the details and if they can't get it sorted at least they can make their transfer agent aware that it's happening. Good luck to the CBIS longs in this election run-up.

This security CBIS is currently chilled for deposit with the DTC and is only good for regular DTC delivery. This will remain restricted to DTC chill here at TD Ameritrade, with closing transactions only as there are still issues settling deposited shares. My only thought as to why other brokers are allowing trades would be that they are willing to take the risk of their trades not settling properly. We are not willing to take that risk.
