Dead wrong. Their depreciation method is within GAAP accounting rules and just proves to be overly conservative.

There is no fictional gain. It's just a wash that their GAAP-legally-chosen method of depreciation tends to book depreciation faster than the asset depreicates in the real world. This is actually very common with depreciation across most fully reporting companies.
