BURLINGTON, ON, Oct. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - EKO International Inc. (EKNL - Pinksheets) is pleased to announce that NeuroVasc Clinical Inc. (NCI) will be presenting FREMS (Frequency Rhythmic Electrical Modulation System) devices at the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine 13th Annual Conference in London, Ontario on October 26th and 27th, 2012.

The two day event offers chiropodists, podiatrists, medical office staff and other health professionals the opportunity to attend an educational conference that is essential to their professional development. The conference contains lectures related to podiatric medicine, delivered by renowned international speakers. The attendees will be offered interactive seminars, hands on workshops and various equipment demonstrations.

Dr. Paul Ziemer of NCI will be speaking to participants and leading them through hands on training sessions for the NC-stat DPN Check device "a fast, accurate, and quantitative point-of-care test for the evaluation of systemic neuropathies such as diabetic peripheral neuropathy" which helps to determine the need for treatment that only FREMS may be able to deliver.
