FYI (MM'S) Market Makers make money per trade. Example: I use Etrade. When I purchase shares thru Etrade, my market maker, they charge me $9.99. When I sell shares thru Etrade, my market maker, they charge me $9.99. They do not make money on price differentials. If they did, they would not charge for the trades in an effort to get folks to trade more. Investors are the true manipulators of stock. It is just that their manipulation shows in the face of the MM, and the MM gets the bad rap.
