I read Romney's Opinion column in today's WSJ, MITT ROMNEY: A NEW COURSE FOR THE MIDDLE EAST and frankly could not make out what he was trying to say other than Obama is doing everything wrong...I hope Obama asks Romney if he wants to attack another country, and if so which one...
-"In Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood has come to power and the peace treaty with Israel hangs in the balance". HUH? So we should return to a policy of telling other nations what to do?
-"And in Iran, the ayatollas continue to move full tilt toward nuclear-weapons capability, all the while promising to annihilate Israel". HUH? What ayatollas have "promised to annihilate Israel"? Romney is being irresponsible in his desperate attempt to win the wh he knows using inflamatory language, "ayatollas", "annihilate", he'll scare the neocons and get them all worked up. Is Sheldon Adelson writing his scripts now???
-Romney says "the first step is to realize how we got here" - yet, his "first step" begins with Pres Obama becoming president and ignores the history of the U.S. towards the mid-East for years.
I guess the economy issue wasn't working for Romney - he doesn't mention word of it in his WSJ column today.
