The thing about mobile is cost of data...unless you have access to free wifi, you are relying on the phone network, and their data rates. I don't shop online using my mobile for that reason, and ads that eat up my bandwidth are not welcome. I don't see how mobile can be monetized to any great extent via advertising...at least it would never work for me...as I am not in a wifi zone, more often than I am...
