well I agree to the benefits, but in general, ever since these 'pre' pay guys have shown up, the promo game has got real dicey with all the frontload. These groups I think are contributing to the downfall of the promo, the games, the cancellations, and us guys that have been doing them for years are getting bummed out.

That said, the resources are out there that you don't need to spend the big bucks for subscription...TBX is easy - I was in AGRT a week before alert (yes, heavy paper loss day before but my biggest gain ever in the end), PVTA I was on holiday but was alerted and obvious day before which I commented on), VKMD was no brainer and I had pre cheapies (that was my 1 arse whooping by not having a stop loss and heading to an appointment thou during crash hour), and this one (much harder as I had 5 possibles), but had it confirmed yesterday at the open.

Most of these you can figure out between logic, MM's, price action, chats, forums.

That said, one nice score on the pre-alert can pay for a years worth. If I was doing this full time, I would probably sign up with one of them.

I wish all promoters were like SMA and just stick up with a $99 ask until promo actually begins - its the easy way to do business and it takes away the frontload advantage that can kill the play anyway.
