That's fine, but not everyone does and one reason CTDT is so illiquid is that TDA won't even deal with it. So even though you can trade it without trouble, if this thing ever takes off, there will be a lot of people cut out of the action because of this issue at TDA, and that means your position is that much more illiquid.
