PSR.H Pro-Spect-Or reveals auriferous structure at Galloway

2005-10-05 11:52 ET - News Release

Mr. Gilles Provost

PRO-SPECT-OR EXPOSES A NEW AURIFEROUS STRUCTURE AT DASSERAT, ABITIBI

Pro-Spect-Or Resources Inc.'s stripping and trenching during this summer have revealed a new auriferous structure in the area of the old Galloway pit in the centre of the property. It is a strongly altered and mineralized fault structure, with disseminated pyrite, quartz carbonate veins and veinlets. A grade of eight grams per tonne was obtained over one metre long and is surrounded by several other samples witch grades between one to two g/t gold.

In the course of this summer exploration campaign, stripping and trenching, spread throughout the property, facilitated the location of the old working and helped better understand the mineralized structure, its orientation and correlation with the previous drilling done on the property. Thus, eight zones were exposed, investigated and analyzed. Two sectors are clearly highlighted, the Galloway pit and Renault Bay sectors.

The Galloway sector consists of a main shear zone in felsic volcaniclastics consisting mainly of block tuff and lapilli tuff. Silicification-, carbonatization- and pyritization-type alterations are strongly present and are associated with auriferous quartz-carbonate veins and veinlets. The auriferous intersection is located in a 10-metre-wide major shear and randomly distributed in the structure. This shear zone is northeast trending and dipping subvertical. Drills performed to date on this zone have showed numerous economical grades up to 7,877 parts per billion per tonne Au on 4.6 metres and 6,507 parts per billion per tonne Au on 3.04 metres which correlates very well with the main shear zone. The high angle direction of the older drillings in relation with the auriferous mineralization explains the difficulty in correlating the past drill results.

The Renault Bay sector located in the north end of the property, shows all the characteristics of a volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit where alteration and auriferous mineralization is closely related. The primary structures of the pillowed lava flow and the shear structure are northeast trending and question the old drillings carried out in the same direction.

Stripping of the outcrops has been a valued and effective tool in putting up the mineralization model and allows the company to be very optimistic about the results of its next drilling campaign.
