That short figure is a crook of do-do. You would need $250K in your account just to cover "shorting" 100k shares of PCFG. And the loss aspect is insane, unless you go to an overseas broker that might allow you to do it slightly cheaper.

" Brokers will require OTC investors to have $2.50 of margin per share to short a stock under $.50, which can make shorting penny stocks very costly. For example, if an investor shorted 100,000 shares of a stock at $0.50, you have to have $250,000 in your account."
