Hey Neb, the photo in question is the top one in post 30390. Taken at the Gov conservancy of items to be loaned for display in DBM's museum it's a mix of period related recoveries. I posted a question regarding this photo at the time and why a big deal hadn't been made about the recovery of an astrolabe? Randy replied with the above explanation and added that the astrolabe is a reproduction.
BTW I too have held over 300 of the recovered coins, several of the silver splash discs, Mayan gold and a stone mirror. Awesome stuff.
