I know that it is illegal but it happens more than you are aware of.
One of my friends has contacted his broker after a couple of times have receiving a message
placing a sell order ‘sorry not enough shares in your account’ The next day there were excuses from the broker, but the opportunity was lost. I must add that this happened several times in regard Canadian stocks.
What I write here are facts.
