Some times companies delay releasing financing news to allow the new investors the opportunity to buy shares in the open market knowing that the shares will be worth substantially more after the news is released.

How soon after new financing is secured does the company have before they have to release the information to the shareholders/market?

I hate to think that individuals are selling shares for .035 today that could be worth .15 or more on Friday.
