Actually a real NUNCHI partnership is the only reason I would get back into EDIG because I don't think I can time things now after the run up and because NUNCHI, with a real announced verified partnership, might have near term money potential. IN order to get good money in patent license fees the accused infringers put you through the wringer and if they demand a jury trial it would take 2 years even if EDIG filed litigation today. Then there is an appeal. There is also additional reexams they could possibly file. In PTSCs case reexams would be preemptively filed as reexams would end in order to keep it going. It only costs $5k to file a reexam and they are almost always pursued by the USPTO in their snail like way. PTSCs 336 patent had 5 reexams done on it and finally after 5 the USPTO denied the next one. Over 3 years in reexams and accused infringers still wont pay until totally cornered by a Markman and perhaps a jury trial. In other words make sure you take some gains along the way.
