Yes, it's very nice. I wouldn't mind living in San Juan or Ouray county at all.

My visit to Colorado Goldfields was entirely unplanned. My gf and I were running ahead of schedule and we decided to take a trip to Mesa Verde. As we got closer to Silverton, I got a wild hair and decided to see if I could find the Pride of the West mill.

I had no idea how to get to the mill and practically had to use the Force to find what I found. I went up State Hwy 110 which, as it turns out, is not the direction to the mill, which I found out later is in Howardsville. I ended up in Gladstone, which is near the Mogul and Gold King.

By the time we found the site in the photo, it was getting dark and we still had to get to Cortez that night. We picked up some hipster whose bike had broken down, had a beer back at his place, and were on our way once more.

I have more photos of the CGFI buildings and such if anyone's interested. I'll post more as time permits.
