Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ONXX) is up 5% at $80.50, backing off a new year high of $80.64. The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NDAQ) announced today the results of the quarterly re-ranking of the NASDAQ Q-50 IndexSM (NXTQ), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, September 24, 2012. ONXX is among nine securities that will be added to the index.

Also, Seeking Alpha said it was among the top biotech firms to get HF money in current quarter.

ONXX has increased 144% in the last 12 months.
