A CLUE as to why it’s another “no news Friday” in spite of ASYI's PREFERNCE for Friday announcements and CONNECTING THE DOTS as to why there won’t be any Super 8-K today, next Monday, next Wednesday or likely any other day:
• no concrete evidence of any signed deal, any pending deal, any deal under discussion
• a company that is a delinquent filer -- not just no 10-Q, but not even a Form 12b-25, which someone with the amount of time on his hands that Beatty has should be able to complete in an hour
• when they miss the next 10-Q they’ll go on an SEC watch list for deregistration
• massive debt overhang or massive share overhang due to shares used to pay off debt, take your pick
• NOLs worth pennies on the dollar, if they’re usable by an acquiror at all
• no evidence that anyone at this “company” is working at all anymore
• desperate need for capital restructuring to ever hope to qualify for listing on anything but the pinks
• uncertain potential liabilities from this company’s iffy past
• plenty of shells out there without anything near the amount of baggage AYSI is dragging along
Many companies wait until after market to make any significant announcement, so maybe I’m an hour or two early and will be proven wrong later this afternoon. But I’m willing to go out on that limb.
