the best thing for this company (and any other company) is for them to form a mastermind alliance instead of going it alone. if they are the board and don't have any others to rely on that have a stack in the company, then it appears they will fail.

at some point they need to realize they cannot do it on their own. they also need to realize they will make a ton more money by giving up total control and allow someone else in.

hiring consultants is not a mastermind alliance. unless the consultant reaps a huge reward for guiding them correctly.
