I don't think he told him anything if they did in fact talk, so no worries on insider information, but I do agree that it is bad business practice to promise something to one person via email, that's why I don't put much weight on these things. No offense expediter I'm not calling you out, I just never believe when people say they talked to the CEO or when they start posting "I hear big things are coming this week blah blah blah." If anyone is worried they can also call him. I have called multiple CEOs in the past. Most people won't for whatever reason.

That being said honestly what attracts me to this company and keeps me from selling even when I am pretty well into the green is the fact that this is a sub-penny with a CEO with a REAL track record. That almost never happens. It's usually some dummy or a group of dummies. That doesn't mean he knows how to manage a public company so as always be careful and be ready to cut losses if necessary. I'm just sayin that no one promised me anything, and I didn't see anything in writing so I couldn't care less that we didn't get an update.
