Unless you have a very strange contract...you should not pay one more dime commission as long as it is the same order and filled the same day.

An all or nothing does not save any commission. It just limits the brokers ability to fill the same order with only one buyer in lieu of maybe 7 buys or fills for your one order.

If this is different for you, I would change brokerage houses fast.

I order 100K shares and never do a all or nothing. It may fill in at 4k, 50K and then 46K shares to complete my 100K order. It has been this way with any broker I have been with.
