1.8 is jsut below the thresshold for clinical significance in my opinion, but it might be enough for others. 1.3 is not clin significant IMO, and i think the whole field would question that.
I think they definitely have to do another trial, but I would think that even if the meta-analysis showed a 3 point change. It's still a meta-analysis of a subgroup.
