They might have done the survey before Google's 7-inch tablet.

Their tablet is very, very good and it's cheap. I like it better than the iPad for usability and it has a ton of apps.

The Microsoft platform will suffer from a lack of apps for probably at least two years. Yes, you can run your legacy programs but it will take quite a while (if ever) for you to run the apps that you're used to on iOS and Android.

The Google Nexus 7 makes a very good case for keeping the laptop and tablet separate devices.
