Great question and a good topic to discuss! I will take it a step further and wouldn't it be irresponsible for a BP to allow a drug with great results such as Bavituximab (along with the entire company of Peregrine with all its assets of IP, Imaging, Bavi and beyond Cotara...and experience!) to slip by their waist side to a competitor?

The drug market is surely changing with the patent expiration cliff already in progress...and another possibility is the patrnering not of Peregrine...but 2 or more BP's stepping in to buy as many shares as possible so if 2 or 3I BP's accumulate 15% each of Peregrine...then a large buyout is realistic at this point as they reduce their exposure and gain leverage as not to lose out on the future longterm profits of many of Peregrines assets and pipeline.

IMHO....a buyout is certain to happen within 2 years and if the price is right sooner... it will be sooner and I believe as Team Peregrine never hyphed early Bavi success...they are also not hyphing the early buyout discussions.
