The U.S. Paralympic Wheelchair Rugby Team topped Great Britain 56-44 on Sept. 6 to open the London 2012 Paralympic Games with a 1-0 record. Team USA won the gold medal in wheelchair rugby at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.

The Paralympic Games, Aug. 29-Sept. 9, follow the London 2012 Olympic Games and are held in the same venues as Olympic competition.
