And interact socially with them several times a day using the CareBot's onboard webcam, monitor, microphones, and speakers for a "virtual visit?"

Social interaction is very important for the elderly to live longer. Family and friends can visit grandpa and see how they are doing and chat with them a bit. This is in home teleconferencing.

So Family First is not important?

How could anyone promote incarcerating eg. a disabled WWII veteran father and punish him by forcing him to endure the loss of dignity, privacy and independence, just because they are hated?

Even total strangers should be given the first opportunity to stay out of disgusting, degrading, dehumanizing nursing homes simply because they are NOT "family?"

Wow, if my elderly father was eg. a disabled WWII veteran, I would be putting Family First and certainly include him in the upcoming CareBot beta trials!

Those that don't put Family First will probably NEVER purchase a CareBot, so why beta test with folks that believe their eg. disabled WWII veteran father deserves to be institutionalized (punished?) in a smelly, bankrupt nursing home?

They'll probably give dear ol' dad, eg. a disabled WWII veteran, a wave of the hand as they abandon them to a short and sorrowful end of life in a bankrupt nursing home with a "smartphone" to watch over them.

BTW, why does recently passed FL law allow families to place webcams in their parent's room? TO PREVENT ELDER ABUSE.

Horrifying for anyone with any Family Values at all!

I feel sorry for those that do not honor their parents.

GeckoSystems is right on putting Family First.

Protecting their privacy is critical to honoring them.
