IsleChem evaluated the desktop Blest machine with the addition of the JBI catalyst. IsleChem determined that the catalyst performed above their expectations. Then IsleChem updated the catalyst to make it conform to the current chemical standards for toxicity.
At that point JBI built a 1 ton per day machine using the catalyst to demonstrate that the process and catalyst would scale up.
IsleChem tested the larger machine and reported that the process/catalyst did scale up effectively.
Since then the machine has gone through additional modifications and up scaling.
