Storm Depot Restoration is currently in negotiations with several companies based in Slidell, Louisiana, to provide equipment and workers to assist in the clean-up effort from those areas affected by Hurricane Katrina. As previously announced, Storm Depot International has already expanded its dealer network by the approval of a new dealer in the Slidell area to sell and install hurricane shutters. The dealer has already procured a location for a base of operations to conduct clean-up operations.
Storm Depot Restoration services will initially involve removal of debris at some of the hurricane-affected locations prior to commencing any restoration services. Storm Depot Restoration plans to establish a base of operations near Biloxi, Mississippi and Mobile, Alabama in the near future.
Additionally, as the debris clean-up efforts are completed, Storm Depot Restoration is working with its recently acquired sister company CTD Holdings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CTDH - News) with regards to cyclodextrin products, which can be specifically formulated in the aid of mold removal and remediation.
"Recent natural disasters in the gulf coast region, namely Hurricane Dennis and Katrina, have created an opportunity for Storm Depot to provide its specialized services to impacted areas," said Ellis Hyers, President of Storm Depot International.
