There is a synergistic response when bavi is combined with a chemotherapy. The chemo creates more PS targets for bavi to cover, which, in turn, allows the immune system to “see” the cancer as non-self and act against it, destroying the tumor and its vascular infrastructure.

When bavi is combined with docetaxel to treat cancer, there appears to be strong and immediate response, halting tumor growth, as evidenced in the graph below.



Bavi plus irradiation can also produce this strong and immediate response that halts tumor growth.
