The government ALWAYS screws up relief efforts for the needy. Faith groups always show up and do the job. I would much rather donate time and money to private faith organizations than feed the government pig first with taxes and hope that something got to where it was needed. Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, who, by the way didn't give a crap about the poor. Government cares for the poor only insofar as it can be an avenue to power. Nothing more.
