I hope that this is an honest move by the Government which, when satisfied that all is satisfactory with the operation of LAMP, will very quickly allow LYNAS to ramp LAMP up to full industrial-scale production.
If, however, production is restricted to "limited quantities" for a significantly long period of time, it might be that they are trying to have it both ways - appease the protestors by reigning in LYNAS's operation but be able still to appear in favour of inward industrial investment.
Time will tell.
