this is a total non issue. This science is what this company is ATTEMPTING

unfortunately, the zincfingers didn't work...so now they have to figure out what went wrong, why and how to fix it...big problem or small one?...who knows...those are the facts...just wait to be told otherwise...

ALL Research and development is 99% failure and 1% success. ALL learning is done by failing.
Monstersilk is the result of learning from thousands of failures.

MS is a success. We will begin selling when we do and Gen 2 will happen if it is possible. Just like monster silk happened.

It should take any major company about a week to answer that question...you would better off talking about the many different layers of bureaucracy that big businesses have that slow down the decision making process

You obviously do not know the first thing about the process.
I have done R&D for military contractors more times than I can could count and NONE of them even came close to a week.

How can you even think incorporating our silk into (for instance) a helmet.
First they need to get the silk woven. That's 2 months.
Then actually run it through the system of production and work out any kinks.
After all that they can begin testing on the thing to see how it works.
After they have decided they want to put it in the product the government will have to do their own testing and if they approve it the company will sign a contract.

The military will not just let a vendor change things without the DoD testing and approving the product.
When is the last time the government did ANYTHING in a week?

That statement of a week isn't even close enough to be speculation it is nothing but a random guess that sounds about as bad as it can. A year before approval would be fast.
