Hi Wisdom, thanks for all your thoughtful and on-target comments on STEM. I agree with you about the Alzheimer's news; it's very promising for an eventual cure for Alzheimer's disease and for STEM's future.

Read the article from New Scientist detailing STEMs results to date in clinical trials phase I and phase II using stem cells to treat spinal-chord injuries in this post from pauljryan20 on the Yahoo! message board:

Here's an article detailing it. Looks promising, but more time [is] needed to determine if the results were directly caused by the stem cells or just through natural occurence [sic]. I think the article stats [sic] that 3% of similar patients have the similar results. Stem might have just upped that to 67%. Time will tell.
