Transportation is the problem.

Plasma Gasification has been around since the 70's. The requirment for the enormous facilities is 200k tons a day. Vision plasm took that process into a mobile format which has not been accomplished by anyone else. The 2 sent to Japan that they are talking about in the article are the 2 that vision plasma sent. Japan would not have anything to worry about if they could just throw all those suits into the back of a truck and contaminate the contryside.

Hence the whole reason there are rules about transporting hazardous waste in certain areas, and the cost to transport hazardous waste is high. Thats where Vision Plasma makes sense. Cost of transporting waste to different locations when it could be processed at the source.

If it costs my single home 550 dollers a year to get rid of normal household waste. Immagine how much a Hospital or other major facilites spend to get rid of there Hazardous / normal waste.
