The massive shorting of PK stocks is a myth used to try to explain why a stock price keeps dropping even with supposedly good news. The true answer is almost always massive dilution.

It is extremely difficult to short PK stocks and penny stocks in general. Additionally, the benefit to risk ratio on shorting penny stocks, particularly sub-pennies, would be extremely poor.

I've never seen a PK stock go up because of a short squeeze. Dilution machines like UNQT just keep going down with constant claims of being shorted. Where is all of the short covering?

Anyone who wants to know if the daily short data for OTC stocks shows true shares shorted despite FINRA's explanation on its website should call FINRA: Legal Section, Market Regulation at (240) 386-5126, or Office of General Counsel at (202) 728-8071.
