I agree with you that of course not everyone who is 'able' to watch it will watch it... But you can't disagree that as more and more millions of people ARE 'able' to watch it, more and more people will watch it. That's simple logic. If its ever available out in my neck of the woods, I'll definitely give it a chance, regardless of the target demographic.
